Cracked and creased you're keeping decent and you're doing it well

There's only so much digging you can do with your hands
Before your knuckles bleed, your muscles scream, you can't even stand
Indifference been signified, indignantly indignified
You're barely making out with what you thought was your chance

And I can smell burning through the unlit decor
From all the undermining bullshit that's swept under the door
It's gone and singed holes in all my shoes and my clothes

It's hard to see clear when you won't open your eyes
But take a few steps back, stop your thoughts and reprise
It becomes pretty obvious theres a playful disguise
Comprehensive condescending not to trip all the wires

And it's a system far too vast for one piece
